Hello! My name is Lindsey Marlin and I am a professional Actor, Voiceover Artist, and Actor Teacher (AEA; SAG-AFTRA Eligible). I hold a B.F.A. in Dramatic Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), and an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University. I have shot national commercials for Safelite Auto Glass and Long John Silver’s, and voiced hundreds of voiceovers for clients such as McDonald’s, Subway, Honda, and Big O Tires. Additionally, I have been heard as the voice of LasikPlus in 37 major U.S. cities!
I have also performed roles or narration in numerous commercials/industrials for companies such as Intel, Columbia Gas, and Eli Lilly. I have been seen in various films such as Stabbing Stupidity (Janet), which screened at multiple film festivals, including L.A.’s Dances with Films (Best Short Film, Honorable Mention) and the prestigious Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival. I also won a Cincinnati Entertainment Award (CEA) for Best Supporting Actress for the role of Delia in the first full production of Warren Leight’s play, Glimmer, Glimmer & Shine, at the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati. Additional favorite theatrical credits include Measure for Measure (Isabella), As You Like It (Rosalind), Kindertransport (Helga), The Cherry Orchard (Varya), The Little Dog Laughed (Diane), and The Laramie Project (Reggie Fluty, etc.). As an Actor Teacher, I work with students to enhance their posture, breathing, physical movements and characterizations, vocal productions, use of accents/dialects, improvisational skills, script analysis skills, and classical and contemporary monologue/scene study and preparation techniques.
To complement my performance work, I am also the owner and founder of Lindsey Marlin Wellness: Transformational Body & Vocal and Creative Wellness Coaching, which offers in-person and/or virtual Coaching, Yoga, Reiki, and Speech-Language Therapy Services! By becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, I chose to deepen my continuing work as both a performer and teacher by learning to provide evaluation and therapy services to children and adults with speech and language issues.
