Lindsey Marlin is a professional actor (AEA/SAG-E) and voiceover artist currently based out of both Columbus, Ohio and Scottsdale, Arizona. A firm believer of "going where the work is," Lindsey has been seen repeatedly in New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, and Arizona! She just wrapped production for the film,
Hung Out To Dry (Wanda), with Shelton and Hill Productions in March 2010, playing opposite Louis Mandylor of
My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Lindsey was also recently seen in Locked Horns Productions' film,
Stabbing Stupidity (Janet), which screened at a variety of film festivals including L.A.’s Dances with Films (Best Short Film, Honorable Mention) and the prestigious Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Lindsey attended the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and received her B.F.A. in Dramatic Performance. She won a Cincinnati Entertainment Award (CEA) for Best Supporting Actress for the role of Delia in the first full production of Warren Leight's play,
Glimmer, Glimmer & Shine, at the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, and she then spent two years in New York City working both locally and regionally. By way of multiple productions in Santa Fe, New Mexico with the Garson Theatre Company, Lindsey finally ended up in Arizona.
Since 2002, Lindsey has voiced numerous regional voiceovers for McDonald's, Honda, Big O Tires, Metro Light Rail, The Phoenix Zoo, and Paddock Pools and Spas, among other clients. She has also voiced multiple spots airing in California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah for Subway® restaurants. In addition, Lindsey is one of fifteen on-camera and voiceover actors chosen to be a part of the core group of "Featured Narrators" for
CineLearning Productions. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), a Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, and a recurring yoga model, having last been seen as a cover/feature model for 'body and brain' magazine.
Coming up, in the fall of 2010, Lindsey will attend The Ohio State University to achieve her graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a Specialization in Singing Health. Lindsey will learn how best to bridge the gap between vocal performance and vocal therapy, deepening her continuing work as both a performer and teacher by also becoming a vocal therapist.
